Irena never fails to delight. I always get the 90 minutes so I can go completely into the altered state. Caught myself snoring a couple of times. Just the right amount of pressure, wonderful alternate techniques from hot salt blocks and stones, and the cold metal stones. Just continues to be the best massage I've ever had.

I got very relaxing massage (lymphatic), great therapist (Irena Hnatjuk-Zahirovic). I had a bit a combo massage, 45 minutes’ lymphatic and 15 deep tissues. I left there feeling relaxed, cleansed and ready for the weekend. I will be back. Thank you!

This was my first visit to In Essence. I went to get a massage from Irena, whom I had worked with when she was with Nordstrom. I can honestly say this was the BEST massage I've ever had. Irena uses a combination of massage, hot copper stones and Himalayan salty rocks, aromatherapy, ice cold marble stones, incredible. You MAST go see her.

Why don't they flinch when you mention a Groupon? Because they know how well they are. My wife got a pair of Groupons, she got a facial and I got a massage some weeks later.
8 months later, we are still faithfully visiting Irena for at least a 60-minute massage. My wife got a 90 last time because Irena had gotten some new stuff and she wanted to try it all.
Copper stones. I'm sensitive to heat but Irena took that into consideration and anything she uses in the massage becomes a natural extension of her expert hands.
We tried a closer place after a couple visits, but it hurt more than it helped. I'm afraid we're spoiled and must continue going to In Essence.

I can't say enough good things about this spa. Every person there is friendly and helpful, and makes you feel right at home. The esthetician is awesome- I have gone to several and have not had a bad facial or wax (Vero is my favorite, though). The massage therapy is amazing too. They take the time to listen to your needs and make you feel great! (Irena is awesome!!!). They fit you in when needed and really work around your schedule. The inside is calm and relaxing. I wish I could go every week!!

Recently, in my massage sessions with Irena Hnatjuk-Zahirovic something incredible happened: I live behind the 5 freeway, with constant static noise, electrical wires and exhaust fumes, etc. About half-way through, and then with the release of cranium-sacral hold- I had clarity and peace from those things for the first time in a long time. I could actually feel the peace. I am so grateful for your technique and talent!

I have been coming to In Essence for 2 years and have never been disappointed. The stuff is very friendly, caring and attentive. I have noticed many health benefits and usually get my massages from Irena. She is always very caring and goes above and beyond to accommodate her clients. She always has new and interesting treatments which she incorporates in both Swedish type and Deep Tissue massages. In past 2 months I started receiving a cold marble treatment on my face and noticed something very interesting- MY WRINKLES ARE GONE! This treatment has dramatically helped to fade the wrinkles on my forehead and cheeks. Irena is wonderful and I will definitely be coming back for more!
